Description
The Drug Product Database (DPD) is maintained by Health Canada. Drugs in the DPD can be identified by a Drug Identification Number (DIN).
These drugs include:
- drugs for humans and animals
- disinfectants
- radiopharmaceutical drugs
- biological drugs for humans

Certain drugs may appear on the DPD 6 months after they are authorized. These include:
- sunscreen
- anti-dandruff shampoo
- hard surface disinfectants
